Berlin International Certification Center (Berlin ICC) is a commercial certification brand and quality assurance standard operated by Talktoweb Berlin GmbH. Berlin ICC provides independent, private-sector certificates of achievement (Certificate of Achievement / Certificate of Attendance) validating professional competencies.

Berlin ICC is a non-governmental, independent entity. Our certificates do not represent state-approved university degrees, academic diplomas, or government-regulated licenses (such as those regulated by state education ministries). They are designed exclusively as proof of practical skill and professional capability for the global corporate job market.

Germany

Berlin ICC certificates are not qualifications under the Berufsbildungsgesetz (BBiG), the Handwerksordnung (HwO), the Hochschulgesetze of the Länder or the Deutscher Qualifikationsrahmen (DQR), and they are not recognized under the Berufsqualifikationsfeststellungsgesetz (BQFG). Berlin ICC is not accredited by the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle (DAkkS). Berlin ICC does not use protected academic titles or designations.

Privacy Policy (GDPR / DSGVO)

1. Controller

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation is TALKTOWEB Berlin GmbH, Pappelallee 78/79, 10437 Berlin, Germany, info@berlinicc.com.

2. Credential Registry

Our digital verification system stores only the minimum data required for credential authentication (Name, Certificate Number, Program Title, Issuing Partner, Issue Date, Status) in strict compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO). The data is supplied by the Authorized Issuing Partner on the basis of its agreement with the participant. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the certification agreement) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest of certificate holders and employers in the authentication of credentials). Registry data is retained as described in section 5 of the Certification Policies. Certificate PDFs and images are stored outside the public web root and served only via the registry.

3. Verification Queries

When a certificate number is verified, the query and the requesting IP address are processed for the purpose of secure operation and abuse prevention (rate limiting) and are not linked to the identity of the person verifying (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Partner Application Form

Data entered in the partner application form (institution, contact person, e-mail, phone, website, country, programs, message) is transmitted to Berlin ICC by e-mail through our e-mail service provider (Resend, Inc., USA — transfer under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses) and processed to handle the application (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). It is retained for 24 months after the last contact, or for the duration of a resulting partnership.

5. Website Access Data

When you visit this website, our web server automatically processes technical access data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) in server log files for the purpose of secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically after 14 days. This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics or third-party embeds.

6. Hosting and Fonts

This website and the credential registry are hosted on servers located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany (Hostinger International Ltd., processing under a data-processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR). Typefaces are served from our own server; no connection to Google Fonts or other third-party font services is established.

7. Social Sharing

The verification page offers links to LinkedIn, X, Facebook, WhatsApp and Telegram. These are plain links: no data is transmitted to these services until you click a link and leave our website. The respective provider's privacy policy then applies.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59-61, 10555 Berlin. Requests may be directed to info@berlinicc.com. Certificate holders may request correction of their name or erasure of their registry record at any time; an erased certificate can no longer be verified.
