Who we are, what we certify, and how we are governed.
Mission
Berlin International Certification Center (Berlin ICC) exists to give employers a reliable, verifiable signal of practical professional competence, and to give training providers an independent quality benchmark to measure themselves against.
We are a certification and quality assurance body, not a school. We do not design or deliver training, sell courses to individuals, or award academic titles. Our role is to evaluate programs against the Berlin ICC Quality Framework (BQF), authorize compliant institutions to issue our certificates, and maintain the public registry that makes every certificate verifiable.

Berlin ICC certifies professional training programs across virtually every field of the private-sector job market. Specific program titles are defined by each Authorized Issuing Partner and appear on the certificate and in the registry record.

Transparency Statement
Berlin ICC is a private-sector, non-governmental certification standard. In the interest of full transparency:
- Berlin ICC is not a public authority and is not accredited by a national accreditation body (such as DAkkS in Germany) under ISO/IEC 17024 or ISO/IEC 17065. We do not claim any such accreditation.
- Berlin ICC certificates are not academic degrees, university diplomas, state-recognized vocational qualifications or professional licenses, and confer no legal right to practice a regulated profession in any country.
- The Berlin ICC Quality Framework is a proprietary evaluation matrix. Its design draws on internationally recognized principles for certificate programs and personnel certification (including the structure of ASTM E2659 and ISO/IEC 17024), without claiming conformity assessment or accreditation under those standards.
- Authorized Issuing Partners are listed in a public register. A certificate issued by an institution not on the register, or bearing a CIN that does not resolve in the Global Credential Registry, is not a valid Berlin ICC certificate.
- Complaints, appeals and reports of misuse are handled under the published Certification Policies.
Should Berlin ICC obtain formal accreditation in the future, the accreditation certificate and scope will be published on this page.
